# POST /v1/appPreviews is deprecated

App Store Connect API deprecated POST /v1/appPreviews without giving a shutdown date yet.

On October 6, 2026, App Store Connect API deprecated the POST /v1/appPreviews endpoint without a shutdown date. Calls to this endpoint will eventually fail as the resource is being removed. The change affects developers uploading or creating app previews through this route.

## What to use instead

Manage media using the App Asset Library via /v1/appAssetLibraryImages, /v1/appAssetLibraryVideos, and /v1/appAssetLibraryPlacements. Consult the Migrating to the App Asset Library guidance for details.
