# summary_model on POST /v2/transcript stops working

Calls to POST /v2/transcript, body parameter summary_model on AssemblyAI API stopped working on October 20, 2026.

On October 20, 2026, AssemblyAI deprecated the legacy Summarization model and removed support for the body parameter summary_model. Calls to POST /v2/transcript that include this parameter fail since that day and return errors.
