# POST /v5/crypto-loan/borrow is deprecated

Bybit API deprecated POST /v5/crypto-loan/borrow without giving a shutdown date yet.

Bybit deprecated the POST /v5/crypto-loan/borrow endpoint on November 17, 2025, without announcing a shutdown date. The deprecation follows the launch of Bybit API's new crypto loan service. Once retired, calls sent to this endpoint will fail.

## What to use instead

Switch to the new crypto loan endpoints by borrowing through POST /v5/crypto-loan-flexible/borrow or POST /v5/crypto-loan-fixed/borrow.
