# API v1.1 is deprecated

Cloudbeds API deprecated /api/v1.1/* without giving a shutdown date yet.

Cloudbeds API deprecated version 1.1 without a shutdown date. This deprecation impacts all calls to /api/v1.1/*. After retirement takes effect, requests to these endpoints will fail.

## What to use instead

Call the same methods under Cloudbeds API v1.2 instead. The move requires more than changing an identifier, as identifiers such as propertyID, guestID, and itemID become strings.
