# The legacy Queries API is deprecated

Databricks REST API deprecated /api/2.0/preview/sql/queries* without giving a shutdown date yet.

Databricks has deprecated the legacy Queries API without a shutdown date. The deprecation hits requests to endpoints matching /api/2.0/preview/sql/queries*. Databricks REST API notes that support will end soon, after which these calls fail.

## What to use instead

Update integrations to call the Queries API at /api/2.0/sql/queries instead of /api/2.0/preview/sql/queries. The move requires more than changing an endpoint path, as the new version introduces paginated lists, PATCH requests for partial updates, and new field names.
