# API version v1 stops working

Calls to /v1/* on Deno stopped working on July 20, 2026.

The Deno v1 API was shut down on July 20, 2026. This retirement affects all /v1/* calls against api.deno.com. Requests sent to these endpoints fail since that date.

## What to use instead

Use the v2 API at api.deno.com/v2 instead. Deployments move from POST /projects/{projectId}/deployments to POST /apps/{app}/deploy.
