# GreyNoise API v2 stops working

Calls to /v2/* on GreyNoise API stopped working on April 30, 2026.

On April 30, 2026, GreyNoise API shut down all /v2/* endpoints. Requests targeting these endpoints fail since that date. GreyNoise API announced the change on July 28, 2025, noting that all v2 API endpoints have been deprecated and decommissioned.

## What to use instead

Switch requests to the corresponding v3 endpoints. Call GET /v3/ip/{ip} to replace /v2/noise/context/{ip}, /v2/riot/{ip}, and /v2/noise/quick/{ip} using quick=true. Use POST /v3/ip for /v2/noise/multi/*, /v3/gnql and /v3/gnql/stats for /v2/experimental/gnql*, and /v3/tags for /v2/meta/metadata.
