# datacenter on POST /v1/primary_ips stops working

Calls to POST /v1/primary_ips, body parameter datacenter on Hetzner Cloud API stopped working on July 1, 2026.

On July 1, 2026, the Hetzner Cloud API removed the datacenter body parameter from POST /v1/primary_ips. Calls specifying this parameter fail since that day. The property was previously deprecated in both requests and responses for Primary IPs.

Send location instead of datacenter when creating a Primary IP.
