# The Social Media API is deprecated

HubSpot API deprecated /broadcast/v1/* without giving a shutdown date yet.

HubSpot has deprecated the legacy /broadcast/v1/* endpoints without a shutdown date. HubSpot API notes that these endpoints are functional and stable, but will not be updated beyond their current version. Any eventual removal will cause requests to these endpoints to fail.

## What to use instead

No replacement is announced, and the endpoints keep working. Because HubSpot names no replacement for its social publishing endpoints, a decision on alternative approaches is needed.
