# POST /v1/embedding is deprecated

Jigsawstack deprecated POST /v1/embedding without giving a shutdown date yet.

Jigsawstack announced on March 9, 2026, that it has deprecated POST /v1/embedding without a shutdown date. This deprecation affects requests made to the POST /v1/embedding endpoint. Once fully removed, calls to this endpoint will fail.

Use Embedding v2 (/v2/embedding) as the replacement.
