# The KakaoStory API stops working

Calls to /v1/api/story/* on Kakao API stopped working on November 15, 2023.

On November 15, 2023, Kakao permanently removed the KakaoStory API. This change affects all requests made to /v1/api/story/* endpoints. Following that date, calls to these paths fail because the service was shut down entirely.

## What to use instead

There is no replacement for the KakaoStory API. You must remove any features and application logic that depend on calling these endpoints.
