# POST /public/v1/token/introspect is deprecated

Kick API deprecated POST /public/v1/token/introspect without giving a shutdown date yet.

On January 15, 2026, Kick API announced the deprecation of POST /public/v1/token/introspect without a shutdown date. This deprecation affects all requests made to POST /public/v1/token/introspect. Once permanently removed, calls to this endpoint will fail.

Use the OAuth server introspect endpoint POST id.kick.com/oauth/token/introspect instead.
