# /api/v1/margin/lend* is deprecated

KuCoin API deprecated /api/v1/margin/lend* without giving a shutdown date yet.

KuCoin has deprecated the /api/v1/margin/lend* endpoints without a shutdown date, announcing the move on September 22, 2023. The deprecation affects calls to these interfaces, including requests such as POST /api/v1/margin/lend. Subsequent requests to these deprecated margin lend endpoints fail.

## What to use instead

Remove the v1 lend calls, covering place, cancel, active, history, and assets, as they answer 404. Note that KuCoin documents no API replacement, as its Lending Market endpoints left the Classic REST docs on October 21, 2026.
