# Graph API v2.3 is redirected to a newer version

Since July 10, 2017, Meta Graph API answers calls to /v2.3/* from a newer version.

On July 10, 2017, Meta Graph API retired version v2.3. Requests to /v2.3/* are no longer served under that version. Instead of failing, Meta Graph API answers these calls by redirecting them to a newer version.

## What to use instead

Call a supported version, such as v26.0. Past this day, Meta answers with the oldest version still available.
