# Graph API v2.4 is redirected to a newer version

Since October 9, 2017, Meta Graph API answers calls to /v2.4/* from a newer version.

On October 9, 2017, Meta Graph API retired version v2.4. Calls to /v2.4/* are no longer served by version v2.4 directly. Instead of failing, these requests are redirected and answered from a newer version.

## What to use instead

Call a supported version, such as v26.0. Past this day Meta answers with the oldest version still available.
