# Graph API v2.9 is redirected to a newer version

Since July 22, 2019, Meta Graph API answers calls to /v2.9/* from a newer version.

On July 22, 2019, Meta Graph API retired version v2.9. Requests targeting /v2.9/* are redirected to a newer version rather than served directly. Meta Graph API now answers these calls using the oldest version still available.

## What to use instead

Update requests to call a supported version, such as v26.0.
