# /v2/alerts_channels stops working

Calls to /v2/alerts_channels* on New Relic REST API stop working on July 31, 2027.

On July 31, 2027, the endpoint /v2/alerts_channels* will reach end of life as part of the retirement of the New Relic REST API v2. After this date, requests to this endpoint will fail and no longer be available.

## What to use instead

Notify through Workflows and Destinations instead, managing them using the NerdGraph GraphQL API with aiNotifications and aiWorkflows mutations.
