# /v2/applications stops working

Calls to /v2/applications* on New Relic REST API stop working on July 31, 2027.

On July 31, 2027, endpoints matching /v2/applications* will reach end of life. After this date, calls to these endpoints will fail because they will no longer be available.

## What to use instead

Read applications, their metrics, and instances through the NerdGraph GraphQL API using entity search and NRQL queries instead.
