# API v1 stops working

Calls to /v1/* on Openaq stopped working on January 31, 2025.

On January 31, 2025, OpenAQ retired the version 1 endpoints. Requests to /v1/* failed after that date and are no longer accessible.

## What to use instead

Migrate your calls to the version 3 endpoints (/v3/).
