# The created_since query parameter is deprecated

OpenCorporates API deprecated GET /v0.4/companies/search, query parameter created_since without giving a shutdown date yet.

The created_since query parameter for GET /v0.4/companies/search is deprecated without a shutdown date. This parameter previously restricted results to companies added after a given date. Requests relying on it will fail.

## What to use instead

Use the created_at date filter instead, formatted as created_at=YYYY-MM-DD: to filter for companies added since a given date.
