# type balance on POST /reports is deprecated

Paddle deprecated POST /reports, body parameter type without giving a shutdown date yet.

Paddle has deprecated the balance value for the body parameter type on the POST /reports endpoint without a shutdown date. Calls passing this value will eventually fail. Paddle announced on October 27, 2025, that the payout reconciliation report replaces the balance report.

Use type payout_reconciliation instead of balance.
