# /v1/payments/authorization is deprecated

PayPal REST API deprecated /v1/payments/authorization/* without giving a shutdown date yet.

PayPal has deprecated the /v1/payments/authorization/* endpoints without setting a shutdown date. Calls made to these endpoints fail as part of the broader deprecation of the /v1/payments interface. Developers using these paths must plan to transition their integrations away from the v1 endpoints.

## What to use instead

Use Payments v2 authorizations (/v2/payments/authorizations/{id}, /capture, /void, /reauthorize) instead.

- API: PayPal REST API (api-m.paypal.com)
