# POST /v1/deals is deprecated

Pipedrive API deprecated POST /v1/deals without giving a shutdown date yet.

Pipedrive announced the deprecation of POST /v1/deals on April 14, 2025, without specifying a shutdown date. The endpoint is planned for removal, meaning calls to it will eventually fail. Pipedrive API deprecated the endpoint in favor of its newer v2 counterpart.
