Portkey API deprecated calls to /v1/proxy/* without a shutdown date. Requests to this route will eventually fail. The announcement was made on December 1, 2023.

## What to use instead

Direct calls to the OpenAI-compatible routes under /v1, including /v1/chat/completions, /v1/completions, and /v1/embeddings. Replace the x-portkey-mode header with either the x-portkey-provider or x-portkey-virtual-key header.
