# since on GET /v1/messages is deprecated

Quo API (formerly OpenPhone) deprecated GET /v1/messages, query parameter since without giving a shutdown date yet.

The query parameter since on GET /v1/messages has been deprecated without a shutdown date. Calls continuing to use this parameter will eventually fail once it is removed. Quo API (formerly OpenPhone) announced this change on October 21, 2024.

## What to use instead

Send createdBefore to keep the current behaviour of since, or send createdAfter for messages created after a time.
