# POST /publish-agent/{} stops working

Calls to POST /publish-agent/{id} on Retell AI API stopped working on July 20, 2026.

On July 20, 2026, Retell AI removed the POST /publish-agent/{id} endpoint. Requests made to this endpoint fail since that date. The change affects any integration still using the legacy agent publishing path.

Call POST /publish-agent-version/{agent_id} instead.
