# /analytics/v1/* is deprecated

Semrush API deprecated GET /analytics/v1/* without giving a shutdown date yet.

Semrush has deprecated the GET /analytics/v1/* endpoints without a shutdown date. Semrush API noted that these methods are deprecated but remain operational temporarily. Once fully removed, requests to these endpoints will fail.

## What to use instead

Switch to the Backlinks API v4 endpoints, such as /apis/v4/backlinks/v1/overview, /summary, /ref-domains, or /pages. This transition requires more than updating endpoint paths, as callers must create and use a Version 4 API key.

The v4 endpoints take a Version 4 API key, which has to be created.
