# Shopify Admin API 2025-04 is redirected to a newer version

Since April 16, 2026, Shopify Admin API answers calls to /admin/api/2025-04/* from a newer version.

On April 16, 2026, Shopify Admin API version 2025-04 was retired. Requests targeting /admin/api/2025-04/* are no longer served by that release. Instead, Shopify Admin API redirects these calls and answers them from a newer version.

Call a newer stable version. Past this day, Shopify answers with the oldest version still accessible.
