# POST /internal/api/v2/workspaces is deprecated

Split Admin API deprecated POST /internal/api/v2/workspaces without giving a shutdown date yet.

Split Admin API has deprecated the POST /internal/api/v2/workspaces endpoint without a shutdown date. Affected calls will be disabled on your migration date and will fail. This change is part of an update replacing select Split Admin API endpoints with new endpoints on the Harness platform.

## What to use instead

Create projects using the Harness Platform Projects API instead, while GET /internal/api/v2/workspaces remains available. Moving requires more than swapping endpoints, as the replacement Harness Platform APIs require a newly created Harness API key.

The replacement endpoints are Harness Platform APIs that need a Harness API key, a new credential to create.
