# NHL API v4 is deprecated

Sportradar API deprecated /nhl/trial/v4/*, /nhl/production/v4/* without giving a shutdown date yet.

Sportradar deprecated the NHL API v4 endpoints matching /nhl/trial/v4/* without providing an exact shutdown date. Affected calls will eventually fail as Sportradar API modernizes its delivery infrastructure. Deprecation was announced to take place within 90 days.

## What to use instead

Migrate your calls to the current NHL API version at /nhl/trial/v7/..., noting that Sportradar supports the current version alongside two previous versions.
