# GET /v1/artists/{}/related-artists stops working on new apps

Calls to GET /v1/artists/{id}/related-artists on Spotify Web API stopped working on November 27, 2024.

On November 27, 2024, Spotify removed access to the GET /v1/artists/{id}/related-artists endpoint for new apps. Requests to this endpoint from affected new apps fail, as new use cases can no longer access or use this functionality. Apps created prior to this date with existing access are not impacted by this change.

## What to use instead

No replacement is offered. Apps with existing extended mode access keep it.
