# POST /youtube/v3/comments/markAsSpam stops working

Calls to POST /youtube/v3/comments/markAsSpam on YouTube Data API stopped working on September 12, 2023.

On September 12, 2023, the endpoint POST /youtube/v3/comments/markAsSpam was removed and is no longer supported. Calls to this endpoint fail. YouTube Data API noted that this method is already unsupported on YouTube and through the API.

There is no replacement available, and callers must stop calling comments.markAsSpam.
