# POST /api/v2/oauth/tokens is deprecated

Zendesk API deprecated POST /api/v2/oauth/tokens without giving a shutdown date yet.

Zendesk API has deprecated the POST /api/v2/oauth/tokens endpoint without announcing a shutdown date. Calls made to this endpoint will eventually fail once it is fully retired. This change affects any integration currently relying on the Create Token endpoint at that path.

## What to use instead

Request tokens using Create Token for Grant Type at POST /oauth/tokens instead.
